The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Turkish Tofas (2-1) in Bursa on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Spanish Zaragoza (2-1) 97-83. Zaragoza shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Zaragoza made 8 blocks. It was a great evening for Angolan center Jilson Bango (208-1999) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-1995, college: Vermont) helped adding 12 points and 6 assists.
