Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 22-year old American 193cm guard Terquavion Smith (college: NC State). Smith started the season at Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing in Chinese CBA league. In 10 games he recorded very impressive stats: 28.0ppg, 7.2rpg, 6.9apg and 1.9spg.
He is a very experienced player. Smith has played also professionally in USA, NBA (Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats) and NBA Summer League (Portland Trail Blazers).
Among many awards he played in the final of NCHSAA North Carolina 2A Championship in 2020. He was voted to USBasket.com NBA G League All-Rookie Team in 2024.
Smith graduated from North Carolina State University in 2023 and it is his second season in pro basketball.
