Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (BSL) added to their roster 24-year old Serbian ex-international power forward Marko Pecarski (208cm-98kg-2000). Pecarski supposed to play at Lietkabelis in Lithuanian LKL league, but was released by the team in Dec.’24. In 11 games he recorded 10.9ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.2apg this season. He also played 9 games in Eurocup where he averaged 11.3ppg and 6.8rpg. The last season he played at Merkezefendi in Turkish BSL. In 24 games he had 11.1ppg and 5.6rpg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
Pecarski was also a member of Serbian international program for some years. He played for Serbian Senior National Team in 2022 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2019.
Pecarski represented Serbia at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tel-Aviv (Israel) six years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: Score-4(18.5ppg), Reb-3(8.8rpg), FGP: 58.6%, 3PT: 30.8%, FT: 77.5%.
He has played also professionally in Germany (Bayern), Montenegro (Mornar) and Serbia (Partizan, KK Borac Cacak, Zemun, BC Mega MIS Beograd and KK FMP SoccerBet Beograd).
His team made it to the Montenegrin League Semifinals in 2023.
