Even 17 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by Rawle Alkins did not help to save the game for H.Galil Elion. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hapoel Tel-Aviv have a solid four-game winning streak. H.Tel-Aviv maintains first position with 11-1 record. Loser Galil Elion keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with H.Afula and I.Ness Ziona. H.Tel-Aviv will meet bottom-ranked H.Haifa (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. H.Galil Elion will play against H.Be’er Sheva (#10) and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 12: H.Holon beat H.Gilboa Galil on the road 83-79. E.Netanya was destroyed by H.Jerusalem on its own court 74-98. M.Tel-Aviv managed to outperform Kiryat Ata in Tel Aviv 102-90. Bnei Hertzeliya recorded a loss to I.Ness Ziona at home 84-86. H.Tel-Aviv defeated M.Ramat Gan on the opponent’s court 91-82. M.Ramat Gan beat H.Be’er Sheva in a home game 85-78.
The most impressive performance of 12th round was 19 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists by Kendale McCullum of M.Ramat Gan.


H.Gilboa Galil – H.Holon 79-83

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Hapoel Holon (7-5) beat 11th ranked H.Gilboa Galil (4-8) in Gan Ner 83-79 on Monday. H.Jerusalem outrebounded E.Netanya 38-26 including 23 on the defensive glass.
