American JaCorey Williams (203-C-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for BC Dubai and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 30-year old center had a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Mornar (#16, 1-11) with 38-point margin 104-66. Dubai maintains the 4th position in ABA League . They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Dubai will need more victories to improve their 9-3 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Williams as usually he does not deliver so high stats. JaCorey Williams averages this season 9.7ppg and 5.4rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young American point guard DeVante Jones (182-PG-1998) of Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. Jones impressed basketball fans with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Cedevita Ol. cruised to a 75-66 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Cibona (#15, 2-10). This victory allowed Cedevita Ol. to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Jones is a newcomer at Cedevita Ol. and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
The third best performed player last round was David Skara (203-F-1995) of KK Split (#10). Skara scored 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Skara’s great performance the Split lost 91-98 to the higher-ranked FMP BG (#6, 7-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Split ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 7 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Skara could help Split to bring them higher in the standings. Skara has a great season in ABA League. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 15.2ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 6.3rpg (8th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
