The most exciting game of round 12 in the Promotiedivisie took place in Groningen. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers River T. (4-4) to sixth ranked De Groene (5-4) 67-66 in the game for the fourth place. De Groene moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Orange Lions. River T. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Uitsmijters and BAL Weart 2. De Groene is looking forward to face Landstede 2 (#10) in Zwolle in the next round where they are favorite. River T. will play on the road against MBCA (#9) in Amstelveen and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Biks S. (5-3) against sixth ranked BAL Weart 2 (4-4) on Saturday night. Visiting Biks S. was defeated by BAL Weart 2 in a tough game in Weert 83-91. BAL Weart 2 moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Uitsmijters and River T. Biks S. at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Leiden 2 and CobraNova. BAL Weart 2 will play against Amsterdam (#7) at home in the next round. Biks S. will play against Orange Lions (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in . First ranked Attacus faced second-best Leiden. Host Attacus (6-2) smashed guests from Leiden (5-3) 103-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Leiden. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Attacus have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-2 record. Loser Leiden keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with CobraNova and Biks S.. Attacus will meet Hot Pepper H. (#5) in the next round. Leiden 2 will play against Triple Threat and hope to secure a win.

CobraNova – Uitsmijters 86-82
Everything could happen in Leidschendam at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked CobraNova and 5th ranked Uitsmijters had identical 4-3 record. This time CobraNova used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Almelo 86-82 on Saturday night. CobraNova (5-3) moved-up to second place, which they share with Leiden 2 and Biks S. Loser Uitsmijters keep the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with BAL Weart 2 and River T.. CobraNova will meet Groningen 2 (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Uitsmijters will play against the league’s second-placed Lokomotief in Rijswijk and hope to secure a win.

MBCA – Lokomotief 61-86
No shocking result in a game in Amstelveen where top-ranked Lokomotief (7-0) smashed 9th ranked MBCA (1-8) 86-61 on Saturday. Lokomotief have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-0 record behind leader Attacus. MBCA lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with eight games lost. Lokomotief will meet at home Uitsmijters (#6) in the next round. MBCA will play against River T. and hope to win that game.
