Joryam Saizonou
University of North Carolina at Greensboro strengthened their roster with addition of 19-year old Dutch point guard Joryam Saizonou (6’3”) for season 2022-2023. Almere (Holland) native moved there from St. Bonaventure University where he spent his sophmore year. But in 9 games he recorded just 0.7ppg last season. Bonnies made it to the NIT Final Four this year.
Saizonou graduated Greater Beckley Christian Prep (Prosperity, WV) in 2020.
He represented Holland at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 in Novi Sad (Serbia) four years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 6.6ppg, 1.0rpg, 3.0apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 32.4%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 71.4%.
His team won European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 in Novi Sad (Serbia) in 2020.
