They share it with Zadar. Buducnost is looking forward to face league’s leader Partizan in Beograd in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Derby will play at home against the league’s second-placed Crvena zvezda (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.

Borac lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Krka. Mega BG will play against Spartak (#5) in Subotica in the next round. Borac will play on the road against Zadar (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
ABA League top team – Serbian Partizan (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Bosnian Igokea (6-5) in Aleksandrovac 107-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Igokea. The best player for the winners was Duane Washington Jr who scored 28 points and 4 assists. Bryce Jones produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Undefeated Partizan have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Defending Bosnian champion Igokea dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Partizan will meet at home Buducnost (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Igokea will play against Krka in Novo Mesto and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 11: Zadar lost to Dubai on the opponent’s court 63-71. Bottom-ranked Mornar unfortunately lost to FMP BG in a home game 76-81. Krka recorded a loss to Split on the road 78-83. Crvena zvezda defeated Cibona on its own court 88-78. Spartak was beaten by Cedevita Ol. in Ljubljana 91-82.


Dubai – Zadar 71-63

Very expected game when 12th ranked Croatian Zadar (4-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked UAE Dubai (8-3) 71-63 on Friday. Dubai made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Italian Awudu Abass (198-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Slovenian Klemen Prepelic (191-1992) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Dubai players scored in double figures. Dubai’s coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. FMP BG made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. FMP BG had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Slovenian point guard Matic Rebec (183-1995, agency: SLN) who scored 21 points and 6 assists. Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Slovenian Krka (3-8) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Croatian Split (5-6) 83-78 on Monday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Split made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Split outrebounded Krka 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Split looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
