Onvo Buyukcekmece Basketbol (BSL) inked 29-year old Serbian ex-international 204cm forward Rade Zagorac. Zagorac played most recently at BC Samara in Russian VTB United League. In 34 games he averaged 7.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg last season.
He played in the final of Adriatic League in 2016 and 2022.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Avtodor in Russia league where in 27 VTB United League games he had 11.0ppg, 5.1rpg, 2.1apg and 1.6spg (in top 5) in that year.
In 2016 he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (35th overall).
He was also a member of Serbian international program for some years. He played for Serbian Senior National Team between 2015 and 2022 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2013.
Zagorac represented Serbia at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) nine years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 10 games: 11.4ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.0spg, FGP: 43.3%, 3PT: 30.6%, FT: 65.7%.
He has played also professionally in Spain (Real Betis), Serbia (Partizan and Smederevo) and NBA (Memphis Grizzlies).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League Play-Off Honorable Mention back in 2021. Zagorac played in the final of Adriatic League in 2016 and 2022.
