ESSM Le Portel Cote d’Opale (Betclic ELITE ProA) landed 29-year old 206cm center Mathieu Boyer. He already started the season at Sluc Nancy Basket Pro. In 6 Betclic ELITE ProA games in France he averaged just 2.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.0apg. The last season season he played at another French team Olympique Antibes (ProB).
He has played previously for four other teams: Bordeaux, Feurs, SO Maritime Boulogne and Saint Chamond.
Among many awards he played in the final of French NM2 in 2018. Boyer was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Center of the Year in 2022.
