Hapoel Safed Galil (National League) signed 31-year old Bahamas-American ex-international forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201cm-113kg-1993, college: Murray State) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Augustin-Fairell already started the season at Denain-Voltaire in French ProB. In 13 games he had 6.7ppg and 4.5rpg. He was a member of Bahamas Senior National Team back in 2018.
Augustin-Fairell is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Augustin-Fairell has played previously professionally in Argentina (Obras), Austria (BC Vienna), Belgium (Circus Brussels), Dominican Republic (La Villa), Portugal (FC Porto), France (Cholet Basket, JDA Dijon, ADA Blois, Chalon/Saor and Etoile Angers) and Israel (Galil Elion). His team won OVC West Division Regular Season in 2014 and 2015. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB Honorable Mention in 2017, 2018 and 2023.
Augustin-Fairell graduated from Murray State in 2015 and it is his tenth season as a professional player. He played also for Indian River State College for 2 years.
