33-year old center Nikita Ivanov (205-C-1991) had a great game in the last round for league’s best team Temp-SUMZ-UMMC Revda and receives a Hoops Agents Superleague 1 Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had the game-high 17 points adding six rebounds and four assists for TSU in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Barnaul (#7, 5-4) with 18-point margin 83-65. It allowed TSU to take over top position in the Russian Superleague 1. TSU have a solid 8-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Ivanov as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Nikita Ivanov averages this season 11.7ppg.
Second best performed player last round was Maksim Karvanen (204-PF-1999) of Metallurg Magnitogorsk. He is a forward in his first season at Metallurg MGN. In the last game Karvanen recorded an impressive double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Metallurg MGN lost that game 68-80 to the higher-ranked Khimki (#4, 6-2). This loss caused Metallurg MGN to drop to 14th position in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Metallurg MGN managed to get this year. Karvanen is a newcomer at Metallurg MGN and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.3ppg (#7). He also registered 7.8 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Victor Zaryazhko (194-PG-1992) of BC Khimki Moscow Region (#4). Zaryazhko showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Khimki, leading his team to a 89-59 easy win against the lower-ranked Chelbasket (#8, 4-4). Khimki needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 2 lost games. Zaryazhko has a great season in Russia. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in assists with 5.4apg (4th best).

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
