Newly promoted Hapoel Gilboa Galil (Winner League) tabbed 25-year old American 188cm guard Darius Perry (college: UCF). Perry already started the season at Promitheas in Greek GBL league. In 6 games he averaged 3.3ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.0apg. He also played 4 games in Basketball Champions League where he had 8.0ppg, 1.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg.
Perry has played previously professionally in Germany (s Oliver Baskets) and Hungary (Hubner Nyiregyhaza BS). His team made it to the German Bundesliga Semifinals in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Honorable Mention in 2024.
Perry graduated from University of Central Florida in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball. He played also for University of Louisville for 3 years.
