Aris Midea Thessaloniki (GBL) inked 23-year old American 185cm guard Sharife Cooper (college: Auburn). Cooper already started the season at Merkezefendi in Turkish BSL league. In 6 games he averaged impressive 15.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.3apg and 1.5spg.
Three years ago he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in second round (48th overall). The former Auburn University standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Cooper has played also professionally in China (Flying Leopards), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers), NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Cleveland Charge) and NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers). He won Chinese CBA championship title in 2024.
Cooper was voted to SEC All-Freshman Team back in 2021.
