Newly promoted Stade Rochelais Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) tabbed experienced 34-year old German ex-international 187cm point guard Joshiko Saibou. Saibou already started the season at Science City Jena in German ProA.
He also represented Germany at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 47.1%, 3PT: 50.0%.
Saibou has played previously professionally in Germany (Gladiators, 46ers, Telekom Baskets, Hakro Merlins and s Oliver Baskets) and France (JDA Dijon and Chalons Reims). He played in the final of German Bundesliga in 2018 and 2019. Saibou was voted to Eurobasket.com German ProA All-Domestic Players Team in 2024.
