M.Raanana will play against E.Shomron (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. H.Izrael will play against M.Rishon (#10) in Rishon Le-Zion and hopes to get back on the winning track.
H.Kfar Qasems fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Ashkelon, where they defeated E.Ashkelon (1-3) 94-84 on Friday. The winners were led by Markeese Hastings who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Even 18 points and 6 assists by Darrell Davis did not help to save the game for E.Ashkelon. H.Kfar Qasem left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated E.Ashkelon. H.Kfar Qasem will meet at home league’s leader M.Rehovot in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. E.Ashkelon will play against I.Nahariya (#7) and hope to win that game.
