A very close game took place in Cento between Cento and Juvi Cremona. Sixteenth ranked Cento (4-7) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Juvi Cremona (4-7). Cento managed to escape with a 1-point win 88-87 in the fight for the thirteenth place. It was a great evening for Stacy Davis who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds. Eddy Polanco responded with 21 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Cento moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Juvi Cremona. Juvi Cremona lost their fifth game in a row. Cento will meet Pesaro (#19) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Juvi Cremona will play against Rieti (#7) and hope to secure a win.

There was no surprise when 20th ranked Piacenza (2-9) was defeated at home by second ranked Cividale (9-2) 80-75 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian point guard Lucio Redivo (183-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Martino Mastellari (194-1996) helped adding 9 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Federico Bonacini (190-1999) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and American Desonta Bradford (193-1996, college: ETSU, agency: Players Group) scored 13 points and 8 assists. Four Piacenza players scored in double figures. Piacenza’s coach Stefano Salieri tested ten players, but that didn’t help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Cividale. They maintain second place with 9-2 record behind leader Rimini. Piacenza at the other side stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
