Khimki-2 have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-2 record. MBA-2 at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Khimki-2 will play against Uralmash-2 (#11) in Yekaterinburg in the next round where they are favorite. MBA-2 will play on the road against Samara-2 (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Defending champion Zenit-2 keeps the second place with two games lost. N.Novgorod-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zenit-2 will play against Lokomotiv-2 and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 14: Minsk smashed Enisey-2 on the road 96-64. Parma-2 destroyed Lokomotiv-2 on its own court 109-82. Samara-2 unfortunately lost to Avtodor-2 in Saratov 83-89. MBA-2 managed to beat Khimki-2 at home 76-60. CSKA-Junior defeated UNICS-2 on the opponent’s court 81-72. N.Novgorod-2 lost to defending champion Zenit-2 in a home game 62-74.
The most impressive performance of 14th round was 11 points and 14 rebounds by Timofey Komissarov of Zenit-2.


Enisey-2 – Minsk 64-96

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Minsk (4-6) crushed 12th ranked Enisey-2 (1-9) in Krasnoyarsk 96-64 on Monday. Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2‘s 38. Minsk forced 19 Enisey-2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Enisey-2‘s players. Belarusian forward Pavel Rabushko (198-2006) notched 21 points and 5 steals to lead the effort and guard Maxim Moskalchuk (188-2005) supported him with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 25 points and 8 rebounds by guard Egor Skuratov (190-2005) did not help to save the game for Enisey-2. Point guard Anton Ovchinnikov (190-2006) added 9 points and 5 assists for the hosts.
