I.Ness Ziona at the other side dropped to the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. H.Galil Elion will play against higher ranked M.Ramat Gan (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. I.Ness Ziona will play against H.Holon (#4) to get more than just one victory in their record.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Kiryat Ata, where 4th placed Bnei Hertzeliya (3-2) lost to tenth ranked Kiryat Ata (2-3) in a road game 78-93 on Monday. Silvio de Sousa stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Kiryat Ata’s coach Eldad Bentov used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Xavier Sneed responded with 22 points. Kiryat Ata moved-up to eighth place. Loser Bnei Hertzeliya dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with H.Galil Elion. Kiryat Ata will meet league’s leader H.Tel-Aviv in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bnei Hertzeliya will play against the league’s second-placed M.Tel-Aviv (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Other games of round 5 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
