There was a small surprise when nineteenth ranked ALM Evreux (2-7) crushed at home 16th ranked Chalons-Reims (3-7) 96-74 on Friday. Evreux forced 20 Chalons-Reims turnovers and outrebounded them 36-23 including 21 on the defensive glass. Bahamas Aaron Levarity (203-1997, college: Milligan) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and American point guard EJ Day (180-1999, college: Lasell) supported him with 19 points and 7 assists. Four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. ALM Evreux’s coach Marc Namura felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
