Elitzur Maccabi Netanya (Winner League) signed 28-year old American forward Bryce Washington (203cm-116kg-1996, college: Louisiana). It is actually his comeback to Netanya as he has played here before. Washington played this summer at Dorados in Mexican LNBP. In 22 games just recently he had 7.9ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.4apg. The last season he played at Rizing in Japanese B2 League where in 60 games he recorded 14.2ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.1apg and 1.3spg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in B League D2 West Division. 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention.
Washington has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (Meteors), Israel (Maccabi Hod Hasharon and Galil Elion) and Canada (Riptide and St.John’s E.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Balkan League championship title in 2022. Washington was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Israeli National League Import Player of the Year back in 2021.
He graduated from University Louisiana at Lafayette in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
