Undefeated Dinamo (5-1) recorded its first loss in Vladivostok. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked CSKA-2 (4-2) 90-86. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Dinamo V.. Point guard Ilia Ermakov (191-2007) scored 26 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Alexandr Evseev chipped in 16 points during the contest. CSKA-2’s coach Anton Yudin allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Vyacheslav Grachev (202-1997) with 20 points and 9 rebounds. CSKA-2 moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Dinamo at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with TSU and Zenit-2. CSKA-2 will play against Dinamo (#15) in Grozny in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dinamo will play at home against Novosybirsk (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Chelbasket (3-3) 78-74 on Friday. Igor Kanygin notched 13 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort. Dinamo G.’s coach Nikita Kucherenko used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 20 points and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) by Andrey Toptunov did not help to save the game for Chelbasket. Dinamo (1-5) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Chelbasket dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with Irkut and Univ.Surgut. Dinamo will meet higher ranked CSKA-2 (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Chelbasket will have a break next round.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 6: Tambov was beaten by Irkut on the road 81-66. Univ.Surgut lost to TSU on its own court 76-87. Kupol-Rodniki managed to outperform Khimki in Izhevsk 75-64. BARS-RGEU recorded a loss to Barnaul at home 70-76.
The most impressive performance of 6th round was 16 points and 9 rebounds by Maxim Krivosheev of BARS-RGEU.
