Point guard Dawid Brek (187-1989) scored 23 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Iwo Mackowiak (196-2003) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Swingman Stanferd Sanny (186-1994) responded with 32 points and the former international Kamil Chanas (190-1985) scored 23 points. Four Rycerze players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Polonia W-wa outrebounded Bielsko-Biala 41-26 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Bielsko-Biala’s players. Power forward Adam Linowski (201-1987) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Marcin Dutkiewicz (198-1986) supported him with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Polonia W-wa players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals by point guard Wojciech Zub (181-1995) did not help to save the game for Bielsko-Biala. Konrad Mamcarczyk (190-1994) added 12 points for the hosts. Bielsko-Biala’s coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.

LKS Lodz dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Polonia Bytom’s 24. They outrebounded Polonia Bytom 46-34 including 34 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Polonia Bytom helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-1992) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 21 rebounds. Point guard Norbert Kulon (187-1992) contributed with 26 points and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Power forward Marcin Salamonik (202-1983) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Marek Piechowicz (201-1988) added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Polonia Bytom. Five LKS Lodz and four Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures.

Five Mickiewicz players scored in double figures. Mickiewicz’s coach Jaroslaw Jakubiec used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 31 points and 7 rebounds by Tomasz Madziar (195-1992) did not help to save the game for Prudnik. Point guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-1977) added 23 points for the guests.
