Defending champion (4-2) moved-up to second place, which they share with Grodno. Impuls at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

It was a great evening for swingman Nikita Kudryavtsev (192-2007) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 5 rebounds. Artiom Suprun helped adding 14 points. At the losing side guard Daniil Vitko (186-2003) responded with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Grodno GrSU have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 3-0 record. Brest at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Grodno GrSU will play against RGUOR (#3) in Minsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Brest will play on the road against Gomel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Vitebsk supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked RGUOR (2-1) played at the court of 6th ranked Rubon II (1-3). RGUOR smashed Rubon II 77-54 on Wednesday. It was an exceptional evening for Vladislav Satyrov who led the winners and scored 25 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Ilya Kustarnikov came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for Rubon II in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. RGUOR moved-up to third place. Loser Rubon II keeps the sixth position with three games lost. RGUOR will meet league’s leader Grodno GrSU on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rubon II will play against Borisfen 2 (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 7 Gomel was smashed by SDUSHOR on the road 82-59.



Brest – Grodno GrSU 38-83

An interesting game for Grodno GrSU (3-0) which played road game in Brest against their biggest opponent Brest (2-2). Leader Grodno GrSU had an easy win 83-38. Grodno GrSU dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Brest‘s 24. Grodno GrSU forced 41 Brest turnovers and outrebounded them 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Grodno GrSU players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Brest‘s players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. SDUSHOR looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Gomel‘s players. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Nazar Farhadov (204-2006) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Egor Batvenkov (192-2007) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four SDUSHOR players scored in double figures. DR Congolese point guard Givenchy Ngimbi (182-2005) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Timofey Karpuk (185-2002) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for Gomel in the defeat.
