The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tartu: Ulikool/Estiko (#3) and Tamsalu (#5). Ulikool/Estiko (5-0) won against visiting Tamsalu (3-2) 66-56. Undefeated Ulikool/Estiko have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Eesti M. and Reinar Halliku. Tamsalu at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Rae Koss. Ulikool/Estiko is looking forward to face Kadrina (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tamsalu will play against Haapsalu and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
An interesting game for Reinar Halliku (5-0) which played road game in against 4th placed Rae Koss (3-2). Leader Reinar Halliku had an easy win 108-66. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Reinar Halliku. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Eesti M. and Ulikool/Estiko. Rae Koss at the other side keep the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Tamsalu. Reinar Halliku will play against league’s leader Eesti M. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rae Koss will play against TSA Kalev and hope to get back on the winning track.
Paide VW‘s fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Kalev, where they defeated TSA Kalev (1-4) 86-77 on Friday. Paide VW (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. Loser TSA Kalev keeps the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Rapla KK. Paide VW will meet at home Rapla KK (#9) in the next round. TSA Kalev will play against Rae Koss and hope to win that game.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 5: Kadrina beat Audentese on the road 78-65. Haapsalu won against Rapla KK on its own court 63-56. Winless Rock Tartu lost to undefeated Eesti M. in a road game 70-78.
Audentese – Kadrina 65-78
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Kadrina (2-2) beat bottom-ranked Audentese (0-5) in Tallinn 78-65 on Tuesday. Kadrina maintains sixth place with 2-2 record. Audentese lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Kadrina will meet at home higher ranked Ulikool/Estiko (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Audentese will play against Rock Tartu (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
