The Regular Season in U19 League just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Bahcesehir smashed Merkezefendi in Acibadem 82-53. Bahcesehir dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Merkezefendi‘s 18 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Bahcesehir forced 31 Merkezefendi turnovers and had a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cagin Isidan (-2005) fired 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 steals for the winners. Center Ahmet Aydin (205-2007) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Efe Yavuz (-2006) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Merkezefendi will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Bahcesehir will try to continue on its current victory against Istanbul on the road.

Yigit Bayer stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. At the losing side Burak Tatar responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gelisim Koleji will meet Besiktas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Istanbul will play against Bahcesehir and hope to win that game.

Ozel Gelisim Koleji looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Istanbul‘s players. Yigit Bayer (-2006) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Mustafa Yilmaz (-2006) chipped in 20 points and 8 assists. Five Ozel Gelisim Koleji players scored in double figures. Darussafaka’s coach Husnu Eser tried various players’ combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help.
