Hapoel Shlomo Tel-Aviv (Winner League) landed 28-year old American 193cm guard Antonio Blakeney (college: LSU). Blakeney played this summer at Florida TNT (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
Three years ago (four years after his graduation) Canton Charge voted him as third overall pick in G-League draft.
He graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
Blakeney is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Blakeney has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Ahli), China (Sharks, Jiangsu Dragons and Monkey Kings), NBA (Chicago Bulls), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge), The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS) and NBA Summer League (Portland Trail Blazers). He was also selected to Asia-Basket.com Chinese CBA All-Imports Team in 2023 and 2024.
Blakeney’s team made it to the SEC Tournament Semifinals in 2016.
