Gornik had a 40-29 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Hubert Pabian (201-1989) notched a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Kamil Zywert (185-1996) supported him with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Gornik players scored in double figures. Gornik’s coach Lukasz Grudniewski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by power forward Wojciech Fras (202-1991) did not help to save the game for Krakow. Pawel Zmarlak (195-1982) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests.
