Newly promoted Semt77 Yalova Belediye Spor (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American 188cm guard Grant Sherfield (college: Oklahoma). Sherfield already started the season at Rasta Vechta in German BBL league. In two games he recorded 7.0ppg.
He has played previously professionally in France (Metropolitans) and Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva). His team made it to the Israeli Final Four in 2024.
Sherfield was voted to All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from University of Oklahoma in 2023 and it is his second season in pro basketball. Sherfield played for other colleges like: The University of Nevada, Wichita State University.
