Umana Reyer Venezia (Serie A) inked 33-year old American 193cm shooting guard Rodney McGruder (college: of Kansas State). McGruder played most recently at AX Armani Exchange Milano. In 7 Euroleague games in Italy he averaged 7.6ppg and 2.6rpg last season. He also spent pre-season at the Warriors in NBA.
McGruder has played also professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu), NBA (Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat and LA Clippers) and NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce and Maine Celtics). He won D-League Central Division championship title in 2015 and 2016.
He graduated from of Kansas State in 2013 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
