Crema edged Mestre at home 83-80. Point guard Leonardo Valesin (190-2006) nailed 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Federico Pirani accounted for 11 points and 7 rebounds. Crema’s coach Nazareno Lombardi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Michele Rubbini (185-1999, agency: SLN) came up with 20 points (made all of his eight free throws) for Mestre in the defeat. Mestre will play next round against Imola Virtus trying to get back on the winning streak. Crema will try to continue on its current victory against Omegna on the road.

Winless Piacenza lost to Legnano at home 81-87. Treviglio managed to outperform Ragusa on the opponent’s court 90-80. Rieti managed to beat Fabriano in a home game 114-104. Caserta Pap. defeated RO Virtus 1960 on the road 67-58. Roseto smashed Luiss Roma on its own court 108-67. Ravenna lost to Ruvo di Puglia in a road game 80-83. Cassino lost to Fabo Herons at home 91-93. Piombino lost to Salerno on the opponent’s court 58-84. Chieti crushed Latina in a home game 87-68. Montecatini beat San Severo on the road 74-59. Chiusi won against Jesi on its own court 72-71. Sant Antimo lost to Livorno Pielle in a road game 68-76.
