Novy Jicin held off Litomerice to advance into the semifinal stage. The best player for the winners was guard Kevin Tyml (195-2001) who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-1993, college: Des Moines A.) chipped in 19 points. Point guard Michal Sotnar (187-1992) produced 20 points and 4 assists and swingman Jan Karlovsky (201-1999) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests.
