BC Siauliai (LKL) signed 20-year old Egyptian center Abdullah Ahmed (208cm-100kg-2003) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with USA’s Shaq Buchanan signing earlier. Ahmed played last season with the Westchester Knicks (NBA G League) in the U.S., where he averaged 4.9ppg, 5.7rpg, and 1.1bpg in 27 NBA G-League games.
Last year, he was selected by the Westchester Knicks (G-League) as the #0 overall pick in the draft.
He represented Egypt at the African Championship U18 in Cairo (Egypt) four years ago. His team won Bronze and he had over 8 ppg.
He has also played in Egypt (Al Shams).
