Segunda FEB newcomer Caja 1987 Baloncesto signed 28-year-old DR Congolese international 206cm center Gullit Mukendi, represented by Promo Sport ID, for the new season. He played for Fundacion Globalcaja La Roda for the past two years. In 24 Segunda FEB games in Spain, he averaged 6.7ppg and 2.0rpg last season. He has been consistently called up to the DR Congolese Senior National Team since 2017.
Mukendi has played previously for eight other teams: La Leonesa, Valladolid, Estudiantes Lugo Rio de Galicia, Ponferrada, Rosalia, Torta del Casar, Moron, and Azuqueca.
He won the Spanish LEB Silver Play-Off championship title in 2017.
