Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (BSL) agreed terms with 23-year old center Tarik Sezgun (213cm-2001) for new 2024-25 season. Sezgun played last season at Samsunspor. In 26 BSL games he had 4.1ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.4apg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Bursaspor Basketbol where in two BSL games he recorded just 2.0ppg in that year. He also played 2 games in Eurocup, but he did not score anything. The other team he played that season for was Final Spor (TBL). In 21 games he averaged 7.4ppg and 4.1rpg in that year.
Sezgun represented Turkey at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Greece five years ago. Sezgun’s team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 1.7ppg, 2.0rpg.
He has played previously for three other teams: Efes, Anadolu Efes and Nadir Gold Istanbul Basket.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Turkish U19 League Regular Season in 2020. Sezgun was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish U19 League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
