Nemanja Besovic

Taoyuan Pilots (PLeague+) added to their roster 29-year old Serbian center Nemanja Besovic (221cm-120kg-1992). Besovic played recently at Akademik Plovdiv in Bulgarian NBL league, but was released by the team in Feb.’22. He managed to play in three leagues this year. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 14 NBL games he recorded 10.9ppg and 3.9rpg. Besovic also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged impressive 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. And finally he contributed to 8 games in Balkan League where he had 9.5ppg and 3.8rpg.
He was a member of Serbian U20 National Team between 2020 and 2012.
Besovic is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi and Pepinster), Iran (Zob Ahan), Qatar (Al Ahli and Al Gharafa), Serbia (KK Partizan NiS Beograd, Vojvodina S Gas and BC Partizan NiS Beograd U19 team), United Arab Emirates (Baniyas) and North Macedonia (Strumica).
