TBL newcomer Cedi Osman Basketbol Spor Kulubu Istanbul inked 33-year old 201cm forward Murat Erensoy for upcoming season. Erensoy played most recently at Buyukcekmece in the BSL. BSL was a little too high level for him, where in 9 games he averaged just 0.3ppg last season. TBL will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He represented Turkey at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 1.4ppg, 2.9rpg.
Erensoy has spent his entire career in Turkey playing for eight other teams: ITU Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bakirkoy, Aliaga, Gelisim, Pi Koleji, Final Spor and Istanbul DSI.
His team was regular season runner-up in Turkish TBL in 2020.
