FC Barcelona Lassa (Liga Endesa) confirmed in their roster 18-year old Italian international swingman Dame Sarr (198cm-2006) for the new 2024-25 season. IHe played last season at FC Barcelona in the ANGT. In 7 Adidas Next Generation Tournament games, he recorded very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 5.1apg, and 1.6spg.
He has also been a member of the Italian international program for some years. Sarr played for the Italian senior team this year and two years ago for the U22 National Team.
He represented Italy at the FIBA U18 European Championship in Nis (Serbia) last year. Sarr was the best scorer at the event with 17.3 ppg, while adding 4 rpg.
He has played previously in Spain (FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team and of course Barca) and Italy (Bassano and Cremona). His team won Spanish EBA Group C-B Regular Season in 2024. Sarr was voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U18 EuroBasket Honorable Mention in 2024.
