Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (BSL) signed 23-year old American guard Omari Moore (198cm-88kg-2000, college: SJSU, agency: Diamond Sports) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Moore played this summer at Niagara River Lions in Canadian CEBL. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 13 CEBL games just recently he had 11.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 5.8apg, 1.4spg and 1.5bpg. Moore also played for the Raptors in NBA where in 5 games he recorded only 2.4ppg and 1.0rpg. The other team he played that season for was River Lions (CEBL). In 13 games he averaged 11.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 5.8apg, 1.4spg and 1.5bpg.
He has played also professionally in other USA team, NBA (Milwaukee Bucks) and NBA G League (Raptors 905 Mississauga).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the MWC Tournament Semifinals in 2023. Moore was voted All-MWC Player of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from San Jose State University in 2023 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
