Newly promoted Gornik Trans.eu Walbrzych (OBL) strengthened their roster with the addition of 27-year-old American 193cm guard Ike Smith (college: Georgia South) for the upcoming season. He played most recently at Florida TNT (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In two The last season he played in Serie A2 in the Italian league.
He has also played professionally in Finland (Pyrinto), Germany, and Italy.
In addition to playing in the final of the Sun Belt Tournament in 2020, Smith was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Finnish Korisliiga Guard of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2020 and it’ll be his fifth season in pro basketball.
