FC Barcelona Lassa (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 20-year old Spaniard international point guard Juan Nunez (192cm-86kg-2004) for new 2024-25 season. Nunez was about to sign at Ratiopharm Ulm in German BBL league. He has played there for the last three years.
This summer he was drafted by Indiana Pacers (NBA) in second round (36th overall).
Nunez has been also a member of Spanish international program for some years. He has regularly played for Spanish senior team since 2023 and for U22 National Team last year.
Nunez represented Spain at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia (Spain) this year. Nunez’s team won Gold and his stats at that event were 2 games: 1.0ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.5apg.
He has played previously for four other Spain teams: Real Madrid, Real Madrid 2nd team, Real Madrid and Madrid. His team made it to the German Bundesliga Cup Finalist in 2024 final. Nunez was voted to Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup Honorable Mention in 2024.
