Konya BBSK (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old small forward Ogulcan Baykan (196cm-1996) for season 2024-25. Baykan played last season at Ankaragucu in Turkish TBL league. In 14 games he recorded 6.2ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.2apg. TB2L will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He also played for Erokspor (TBL) where in 13 games he averaged 4.0ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.1apg.
Baykan represented Turkey at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Helsinki (Finland) eight years ago. Baykan’s team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 5 games: 1.0ppg, 1.4apg.
He has played previously for seven other teams: Efes, Bakirkoy, Yalovaspor, Buyukcekmece, Konyaspor, Afyon and Buyukcekmece.
His team made it to the Turkish Cup final in 2017.
