GS Iraklis BC Thessaloniki (Elite League) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old ex-international center Gaios Skordilis (207cm-1987, agency: Diamond Sports) for new 2024-25 season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. 2023-24 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Greek Elite League Second Team.
Skordilis won Greek A2 Play-Off championship title in 2016 and 2017 and made it to the cup final in 2015 and 2016.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at U.M.F. Grindavik in Icelandic Subway League where in 22 games he recorded 13.4ppg, 8.5rpg and 1.7apg in that year. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Icelandic League Honorable Mention.
