Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul (BSL) inked 25-year old Turk international 190cm point guard Sehmus Hazer for upcoming season. Hazer played this summer at Sacramento Kings in the NBA Summer League. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In three NBA Summer League games just recently he averaged 3.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 2.0apg. The last season he played at Fenerbahce in Turkish BSL where in 39 NBA Summer League games he had 8.1ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg. Hazer helped them to win the Turkish League title and the cup. He also played 6 games in Euroleague, but he recorded only 0.3ppg.
Hazer has been also a member of Turkish international program for some years. He has regularly played for Turkish senior team since 2020 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2017.
Hazer represented Turkey at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tel-Aviv (Israel) five years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 10.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.8apg, 1.8spg, FGP: 51.6%, 3PT: 20.0%, FT: 60.0%.
He has played previously professionally in Turkey (Bandirma and TEKSUT Bandirma BK) and NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers). Hazer was voted to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2019 and 2020.
