Aigaleo AO (National League 1) inked 26-year old 200cm small forward Athanasios Bolatoglou for upcoming season. Bolatoglou played most recently at GS Ermis Shimatariou in the Elite League. In 33 games he recorded 3.2ppg and 2.2rpg last season. National League 1 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at AO Paleo Falirou Piraeus (B).
Bolatoglou represented Greece at the Albert Schweitzer International Tournament in Mannheim (Unofficial World Championships U18) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 2.9ppg, 1.3rpg.
He has played previously for two other teams: Ionikos Nikaias and Enosi.
Among many awards he received Eurobasket.com All-Greek C League Most Improved Player of the Year award back in 2020.
