Ratiopharm Ulm (BBL) signed 26-year old Puerto Rican international shooting guard Alfonso Plummer (185cm-79kg-1997, college: Illinois) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Plummer played this summer at Capitanes de Arecibo in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 32 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 20.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 3.8apg. He has been regularly called to Puerto Rican Senior National Team since 2022.
Plummer has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in France (Paris Basket) and NBA G League (Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won NJCAA D1 District I championship title in 2019. Plummer was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Rookie of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from University of Illinois in 2022 and it will be his third season as a professional player. Plummer played for other colleges like: University of Utah, Arizona Western College.
