Mario Brunetto
Eastern Michigan University added 19-year-old Italian small forward Mario Brunetto (6’11”-191lbs-2005) to their roster for the 2024-25 season.
He played last season at Orasi Ravenna in Italian Serie B Nazionale, where he averaged just 2.6ppg and 1.6rpg in 8 games.
He is a very promising young player. In pre-season matches for Kuntic Academy against Marquette and Maryland, he had excellent 4 games (13.5ppg, 4.0rpg). He was the team’s best scorer along with Darko Balaban.
Brunetto also played for Acqua San Bernardo Campus Piemonte Torino in Serie B Nazionale, averaging 15.4ppg and 1.5rpg in 12 games, as well he played in Germany (Bayern) and Italy (Pistoia, Fortitudo Bologna U20 team, Brindisi, and Cividale) previously.
