Club Joventut Badalona (Liga Endesa) inked experienced 35-year old Hungarian international 200cm swingman Adam Hanga for upcoming season. Hanga played most recently at Crvena Zvezda in Serbian KLS league. In 26 Euroleague games he recorded 8.0ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.4apg last season. He also played 20 games in ABA League where he averaged 6.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 2.6apg.
Hanga was voted to Eurobasket.com Hungarian League All-Newcomers Team back in 2008 and 2010.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Real Madrid in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 28 games he had 5.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.3apg in that year. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Hanga also played 27 games in Euroleague where he got 4.2ppg, 1.8rpg and 1.7apg in that year. He contributed to his team winning the Euroleague championship.
In 2011 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (59th overall).
Hanga has been also a member of Hungarian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Hungarian senior team since 2009 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2007.
Hanga represented Hungary at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 14.0ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.2apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 41.9%, 3PT: 35.7%, FT: 63.6%.
He has played also professionally in Italy (Avellino), Spain (FC Barcelona, Baskonia and BAXI Manresa) and Hungary (Alba, Fehervar and Palota). Hanga was selected to Eurobasket.com Hungarian League All-Newcomers Team back in 2008 and 2010.
