Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (BSL) agreed terms with 25-year old American forward Both Gach (201cm-88kg-1999, college: Utah) for new 2024-25 season. Gach played last season at BC Nokia in Finnish Korisliiga. In 49 games he was league’s third best scorer with impressive 21.2ppg and averaged 6.9rpg, 3.0apg and 1.0spg. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. They also made it to the Cup final. 2023-24 was a great season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Finnish Korisliiga Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Forward of the Year.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Sigal Prishtina in Kosovan Superliga where in 17 games he had 11.1ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.4apg in that year. Gach contributed to his team winning the regular season and make it to the semifinals. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Honorable Mention. He also played 4 games in European North Basketball League where he recorded 12.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 3.0apg in that year.
Gach graduated from University of Utah in 2022 and it is his third season as a professional player. He played also for University of Minnesota for one year.
