Darussafaka Lassa Istanbul (BSL) added to their roster 21-year old forward Yigit Onan (207cm-2002) for new 2024-25 season. Onan played last season at Gaziantep Basketbol. In 28 TBL games he recorded 14.9ppg, 8.4rpg and 3.2apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL Domestic Player of the Year, League Player of the Week (2 times) and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL Second Team.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Besiktas. But in 9 BSL games he averaged just 0.3ppg and 1.0rpg in that year. Onan also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup, but he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound and 1 steal.
He has played previously professionally also in Serbia (KK Dynamic Vip Pay Beograd) and Turkey (Fenerbahce, Fenerbahce).
